FAQ

  1. Are the mosquito/flea/tick control products that you use safe for kids and pets?
Yes, they are absolutely safe. Our products are a synthetic form of pyrethrins known as pyrethoids. Pyrethrins are actually a natural byproduct of the Chrysanthemum flower. If used appropriately and given 30 minutes to dry, the product is completely safe. Every product that we use is EPA registered. We also offer an all natural product as an alternative.
  2. How long do people and pets need to stay off the treated area after the mosquito/flea/tick control barrier-spray has been applied?
People and pets should stay off the treated area for 30 minutes to give the products time to dry. In high humidity periods, the drying time could be slightly longer.
  3. How much does the service typically cost?
Each and every property is unique, so there is a wide range of pricing depending on the amount of foliage that will need to be treated. We offer a free no obligation on site estimate. We do not price properties based on information from google maps etc.. Since we are a very small family owned and operated company, our pricing is typically below our competition. We will also match any competitor’s comparable offer. Keep in mind our pricing includes flea and tick control.
  4. Is there an extra charge for the flea and tick control?
No, we do not charge extra for flea and tick control. We do ask that you let us know if you are currently having issues with fleas and ticks upon contacting us.
  5. Do you notify us before you visit our property?
Yes. We typically notify you 2 days prior to the application.
  6. How do we know that you have been to our property?
Our technician(s) will always leave you a slip notifying you that an application has been applied along with the date and time that your treatment was applied.
  7. How long does the mosquito/flea/tick control barrier-spray last?
    3 weeks or 21 days.
  8. Will rain impact how long the mosquito control barrier-spray lasts?
Light or quick showers will not have any impact. A heavy, sustained wind driven rain will impact the results. Our certified technicians are constantly monitoring the weather conditions and will schedule your application accordingly.
  9. How effective is the mosquito/flea/tick control barrier-spray?
It is so effective that we offer a money back guarantee. If you are not 100% satisfied with the results, just give us a call and we will refund your money. No questions asked. As an alternative, we will promptly reapply a treatment at no cost to you.
  10. Do I have to pre-pay or sign a contract?
No, we do not require you to pre-pay or sign a contract for our mosquito/flea/tick control service.   You can pay as you go or pay for an entire season. We offer a 5% discount if you pay for an entire season up front.
  11. What type of payments do you accept?
We accept cash, check, and you also have the option of online payments coming directly from your checking/savings. You just simply click the “pay” button via the invoice that will be emailed to you.
  12. Does somebody have to be home?
No. Although we do ask that all pets to be inside during the application.
  13. Will it bother my fish pond or swimming pool?
Our products are very hazardous to fish (with the exception of the all natural product). We typically will cover fish ponds if possible. If covering is not possible, we have a number of techniques that we can use to ensure the safety of the fish. None of our products will affect your swimming pool, however we will avoid allowing the products to contact the water in your pool.
  14. Do you spray the grass?
Typically, we do not spray your lawn unless you are having issues with fleas or ticks. However, if your grass is unusually long and has the potential for harboring unwanted insects, we may ask for the lawn to be cut prior to our arrival. Prior to your application, your property will be given a thorough inspection to identify which areas are providing mosquitoes a habitat for breeding and resting.
